Overview

An airport connector where walls and vaulted ceiling become one LED surface: redwood forest, shafts of light and drifting fog.

A connector is often the longest walk in an airport, and the plainest. Here the walls and the vault become one continuous image of a redwood forest, with fog moving between the trunks and light falling through the canopy. Travelers with rolling bags walk toward a brighter end, and the polished floor doubles the image. The forest can change with the hour: morning, dusk, a winter storm.
