Overview

The vaulted ceiling of a Beaux-Arts station hall turned into a single LED sky of golden summer cumulus.

Waiting halls like this were built to feel open to the sky. An LED vault makes that literal. Above the stone walls and arched windows, the whole ceiling becomes one seamless sky: golden cumulus on a summer afternoon, the hour before dusk, a clear night. The image is mapped to the curve of the vault, so the clouds keep their scale from end to end.
