Overview
An LED droplet of approx. 46 ft hung from a steel cap in a tiered hotel atrium, filled with slow-moving liquid gold.
Tall atria are hard to fill. Balconies look inward, and the space between them is usually empty air. The Droplet hangs from a single steel cap at the roof and tapers toward the lobby floor, so every level sees it at a different width. Liquid gold folds slowly across its surface. Its curve is built from rows of tapered modules, each row its own shape.
